Those of you, who have been to Stockholm - I am sure you are aware of this incredible place - and those of you who haven't, here's a place to go next time youre visiting! Stadsbiblioteket Stockholm is located in the wider centre, near Odenplan metro stop. The buidning is spectacular from the outside - and when you come in, it gives you this strange feeling - I just stared wordlessly for a bit. A great thing about the place is that the entry is free and the library is open to public most days until 9pm. (Before visiting, check their webpage here.) There are three storeys filled with bookshelves in the main round bit, and there is also a whole lot of reading / studying space where you can light your own green-glass light. A must see for anyone who loves books or nice places - I guess that concludes all of us :)

Pre tých z vás, ktorí ste Štokholm navštívili to asi nebude nič nové, ale tí, ktorí ste tu ešte neboli, toto je miesto, kam počas návštevy treba nutne zájsť. Budovu mestskej knižnice Stadsbiblioteket nájdete neďaleko zastávky metra Odenplan a zvonku si ju určite všimnete. Ale keď vstúpite dovnútra a ocitnete na okraji obrovskej kruhovej miestnosti s troma poschodiami pavlačí s poličkami, preplnenými knihami, určite sa budete cítiť zvlášne Zvláštne dobre. Osobne som asi na minútu zatajila dych. Skvelá vec je, že knižnica je otvorená takmer každý deň, napríklad dnes do deviatej (pred návštevou si overte, v akej sme sezóne na ich webe tu) večer a vstup je bezplatný. Okrem tejto spektakulárnej kruhovej miestnosti sú v rámci budovi aj menšie študovne, kde sú na stoloch postavené sklené zelené čarovné lampičky.
