Stockholms universitetsbibliotek

The University of Stockholm consists of four faculties, researching law, humanities, mathemartical and natural sciences. The main campus lies on the North-Eastern part of Stockholm and that is where the main library is located also.
It has been recently reconstructed and you can still struggle to find what you´re looking for :) The library has a great section of Artchitecture & Fashion theory, as well as art books, both theoretical and portfolios. I managed to pick up five of them this time.
The bag fits everything in and solves my issue with not being able to get a bag big enough for my large laptop. So it´s just to be careful not to show too much, since it´s see-through :)

Na Štokholmskej Univerzite sa dá študovať právo, sociálne a humanitné vedy a prírodné odbory. Leží smerom na severovýchod od centra mesta a v jej obrovskom kampuse je aj štokholmská univerzitná knižnica.
Nedávno ju rekonštruovali a ešte stále je niekedy ťažké nájsť to, čo hľadáte. Knižnica má ale skvelú zbierku teórie módy a architektúry, rovnako ako obrovské množstvo publikácií o umení, teoretických, aj portfólií. Tentokrát sa mi tam podarilo vymyslieť si názov pre diplomovku a vziať si domov 5 kníh.
Do tejto tašky sa zmestí všetko a vyriešila aj môj problém so zháňaním tašky, do ktorej by sa zmestil môj enormný počítač.

Is one of the epic streets of Södermalm, a few blocks away from Sofia Skola. I have to confess I was a little bit skeptical when it came to Södermalm, since it has been hyped a bit too much to my liking, but since I have moved here few weeks ago and really got the chance to walk its streets a bit more, I understand why everyone is so positive about this island. The streets are magic, residential blocks from around the end of 19th century / beginning of 20th century (with large yards inside) are mixed with older, usually one-floor-high little houses with lovely gardens. Then there are modern, yet old-school looking cinemas with neon light decorations, lovely cafés, wine bars and specific shops and services with a lot of atmosphere. It´s easy to feel like home here :)

Katarina Bangata je jednou z epických uličiek na Södermalme, neďaleko od Sofia Skola. Musím sa priznať, že voči Södermalmu som bola zo začiatku trošku skeptická, asi preto, že som o ňom počúvala viac, ako som chcela. Ale odkedy som sa sem pred pár týždňami presťahovala a dostala som šancu každodenne (sa) ním prechádzať, dá sa povedať, že už som pochopila všetok ten vzruch. Tento ostrov má silnú svojskú atmosféru, rezidenččné bloky z konca 19. až začiatku 20. storočia (s obrovskými dvormi vnútri) sa striedajú so staršími nízkymi, väčšinou jednopodlažnými domčekmi s rozľahlými záhradkami. Potom je tu kopec škôl a škôlok, kiná s neónovými nápismi, nové vínne bary a špecializované obchody s tovarom od výmyslu sveta. A je to veľmi ľahké sa tu za krátku dobu cítiť ako doma :)
